Weather mini is an offline-first app
Besides fetching weather data from Apple WeatherKit and syncing saved trip plans through Apple's iCloud system frameworks when you use the same iCloud account across supported Weather mini apps other than Weather mini for Watch, Weather mini operates offline-first. We collect absolutely zero data from you. No tracking, no analytics, no developer-owned servers collecting your information.
Weather mini is powered entirely by Apple WeatherKit. This is the only online service the app uses.
All city searches are performed entirely on-device using offline data. No internet connection is required to search for locations, and no search queries are ever transmitted to any server.
Weather mini does not collect any personal information. Your app preferences and saved locations remain on your device. If you use Weather mini on multiple supported Apple platforms signed into the same iCloud account, saved trip plans may also sync through iCloud using Apple's system frameworks, not our servers. Weather mini for Watch does not use this iCloud sync.
If you use Weather mini on multiple supported Apple platforms with the same iCloud account, your saved trip plans may sync automatically through iCloud. This applies to supported Weather mini apps other than Weather mini for Watch. This sync is handled by Apple's system frameworks. We do not run our own sync servers or access that synced data outside your iCloud account.
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or telemetry services. Period. Your usage of Weather mini is completely private.
